This garden’s journey:

Before: A narrow strip of turf covering builder's rubble, paving, and fence, and wheelie bins in full sight — the usual new-build setup.

Year One: We introduced a patio corner, reduced the wide path by one strip of pavers, and started softening the edges with planting. We also created a trellis hideaway for the wheelie bins.

Year Two: Roses, alliums, herbs and trees began to create a proper sanctuary.
